Miniature ball bearings are bearings with a small bore diameter (less than 30 mm).
Miniature bearings are available in various designs and types, including: standard, radial, angular contact, with a flanged outer ring, with an elongated inner ring, bearings with outer rings with a wide or thin cross-section and many others.
Miniature bearings are those with internal diameter (in metric dimensions) from 1 mm to 9 mm and external diameter from 3 mm to 30 mm. They are available in open design and covered on both sides. Inch miniature bearings have inside diameter dimensions. from 0.040 "to 0.750" and an outside dia. 0.125 "to 1.625". They are available in open and covered versions, and with or without a flange on the outer ring.
Miniature thrust bearings with an inner diameter of 2 mm to 10 mm and an outer diameter of 6 mm to 18 mm are equipped with contact or non-contact shields or seals on one or both sides. For applications requiring higher speed, stiffness or thrust load-carrying capacity, miniature angular contact bearings are also available.
