The Barden Bearings is a recognised leader in the design and manufacture of super precision ball bearings. The company produces bearings of exceptional quality and precision, renowned worldwide for their high reliability and long operating life in challenging applications.  Barden offers thousands of bearing variations which are used in virtually every sector of industry where there is the need to meet critical tolerances, high speeds and performance under demanding operating conditions.

These include key components for the aerospace and defence sectors, vacuum technology and specialist medical systems. More than 50% of production is devoted to special bearings, many of which offer added value by higher-level integration - the means to reduce the number of adjacent component parts, thereby optimising both cost and technical advantage.

Barden operates from a purpose-built factory in Plymouth on the South West coast of the UK. The facility contains a Class 7 cleanroom for contamination free assembly and inspection, while continued investment into state-of-the-art production technology ensures Barden remains at the forefront of precision bearing manufacture. Exacting standards are applied to every element of the business, and the plant is certified to all major quality and environmental management systems.
